Announcements
The problem sessions will be held in KB 316; Wednesdays at 4 pm.
Lowest PS grade will be taken out of the average for each student.
Extra credit questions are for your benefit. Turn in any of your work, even if you can not solve it. The grading will be adjusted such that it will not effect the grades of those do not turn them in, but it will help to those who (fully or partially) solve them.
The first midterm is scheduled on 01-11-2006 at 13:30 in class. Closed book/notes, no calculators.
The second midterm is scheduled on 06-12-2006 at 13:30 in class. Closed book/notes.
Problem Set 9 - Question 5 had a typo in the wave function equation. See the updated file above.
Homework for the “Hydrogen Atom” chapter will be given as the first Problem Set for Phys 312.
Final exam: Jan 20th, 2006, Sat., at 3pm. Will include everything covered in this course. Closed book/notes, no calculators.
